- Vice President of Retail Services
Description
The Vice President of Retail Services will report to the Chief Operating Officer of Beacon Health System. This role is crucial in shaping the health system's consumer growth strategy. The Vice President will lead the development, expansion, and optimization of a diverse range of retail and ambulatory services. This executive will provide both strategic and administrative oversight for consumer-facing, revenue-generating service lines, which include Beacon Occupational Health, Medpoint Urgent Care (brick-and-mortar and telehealth), Beacon Outpatient Rehabilitation Services, Beacon Granger Hospital, School Nurse Services, Juvenile Justice Center health services, Paragon, Well-Being Solutions, Beacon Retail Imaging, and Beacon Mobile MRI. Additionally, the Vice President will oversee other current and future offerings aligned with the health system's priorities.
Beacon Health System, headquartered in South Bend, Indiana, operates eleven hospitals and 270 care sites across ten counties. As the regional leader in comprehensive and integrated services, Beacon Health offers a wide range of specialties, including childbirth, pediatrics, cancer care, trauma, heart and vascular services, stroke care, orthopedics, sports medicine, surgery, and mental health. Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Master's Degree in Business, Health Administration, or specialty field within areas of responsibility
- Demonstrated leadership skills in past positions consistent with and necessary to carry out the mission and leadership philosophy of BHS and the role of the VP
- Minimum of seven years of experience in hospital leadership, including significant experience in leading, developing, and expanding retail services
Knowledge & Skills:
- Ability to quickly gain a deep understanding of Beacon Health System’s mission, systems integration, organizational development, and financial drivers such as managed care, capitation, reimbursement models, and market trends.
