Description
Catalina Marketing Corporation seeks a Sr. Analyst – Retail in St. Petersburg, FL and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Responsibilities to include: Providing analytical insights that identify and quantify business opportunities and lead to improved shopper campaign performance and new retailer initiatives; Providing targeting solutions that optimize the client’s strategies and consumer value propositions; Evaluating performance of targeted shopper campaigns using appropriate analyses; Performing ad hoc custom analyses to meet the needs of the client; Present analytic insights, results, and recommendations— to internal analytics and business development teams —in a clear and compelling manner; Work with the Senior Director of Retail Analytics and the retail sales team to build relationships with key contacts at this key client.
Requirements include: Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Marketing Research, Business Analytics, Business Administration or quantitative fields, plus 12 months of experience in job offered or related. Experience to include Experience to include quantitative methods and statistical applications, as well as experience with the following: SQL; Python or R in a quantitative, analytical capacity; Microsoft Office software; Experience with proprietary data systems and IT infrastructures used to extract data needed to support quantitative research projects.
