Global Banking & Markets | Scotiabank (Ireland) | Dublin
The Role
Join Scotiabank's Global Banking & Markets team in Ireland as an Associate in Corporate Banking. This role offers hands-on exposure to complex transactions, senior stakeholders, and a broad suite of global banking products within a high-performing, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality credit proposals, annual reviews, and financial analysis
- Identify lending and cross-sell opportunities across Scotiabank's product platform
- Manage transactions end-to-end, liaising with Risk, Legal, and Operations
- Support coverage of a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring compliance and monitoring
- Partner effectively with Global Risk Management and internal product teams
- Contribute to client pitches and broader marketing initiatives
- Manage multiple priorities while delivering accurate, timely outputs
- Operate in line with the Bank's risk appetite, policies, and regulatory standards
What You'll Bring
- Experience in Corporate Banking, Credit Analysis, or a related financial services role
- Strong financial accounting knowledge and financial modelling skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple transactions with strong attention to detail
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
- A university degree (CFA or CA qualification encouraged but not required)
- Fluency in English; Spanish and/or French is an advantage
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong learning agility
