The Role

Join Scotiabank's Global Banking & Markets team in Ireland as an Associate in Corporate Banking. This role offers hands-on exposure to complex transactions, senior stakeholders, and a broad suite of global banking products within a high-performing, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality credit proposals, annual reviews, and financial analysis
• Identify lending and cross-sell opportunities across Scotiabank's product platform
• Manage transactions end-to-end, liaising with Risk, Legal, and Operations
• Support coverage of a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring compliance and monitoring
• Partner effectively with Global Risk Management and internal product teams
• Contribute to client pitches and broader marketing initiatives
• Manage multiple priorities while delivering accurate, timely outputs
• Operate in line with the Bank's risk appetite, policies, and regulatory standards

What You'll Bring

• Experience in Corporate Banking, Credit Analysis, or a related financial services role
• Strong financial accounting knowledge and financial modelling skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proven ability to manage multiple transactions with strong attention to detail
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
• A university degree (CFA or CA qualification encouraged but not required)
• Fluency in English; Spanish and/or French is an advantage
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong learning agility
