Licensed Pharmacist

This position requires intermittently sitting at a computer workstation; performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing); standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 pounds; lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds; and occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Also involves some risk of back injury from moving, lifting or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; risk of injuries from use of equipment on the job; and exposure to blood-borne or airborne pathogens, hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, cuts/punctures, burns, and combative/violent people.

Shifts primarily during the hours of 7am-9pm Monday through Friday with occasional weekend coverage. Location is a 24hr/365 days per year location so shift hours may change to provide coverage and may include holidays.

Assist in managing the pharmaceutical care workload. Compounds and dispenses medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving written orders from physicians. Reviews and interprets prescriptions and drug profiles to ensure appropriate drug therapy has been prescribed and ensures that drug interactions. Position is an hourly, 30hr per week position. There is an internal candidate being considered.

This position requires attention to detail; the ability to provide excellent customer service; reliability; punctuality; teamwork; and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

PharmD in Pharmacy Ambulatory/Retail Pharmacy Experience preferred.
