Catalina Marketing Corporation seeks a Senior Analytics Consultant - Retail in St. Petersburg, FL and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S Responsibilities to include: provide mentorship and strategic direction to junior analysts, fostering their professional growth and ensuring their contributions align with the team's objectives. Lead client-facing meetings and be responsible and accountable for the timely delivery of client requests provided by supporting team of junior analysts. Provide analytical and technical support to the initiation and development of retail-centric shopper insights tools and dashboard, to help identify and quantify business opportunities and lead to enhanced targeting solutions and new retailer initiatives. Provide statistical expertise and technical support to the consolidation and development of statistical modeling and segmentation solutions, which will lead to improved shopper marketing strategy and campaign performances. Provide automation, streamlining and standardization support to the consolidation/scaling of campaign analytics processes to enable team efficiency and productivity improvements. Perform ad hoc custom analyses to support proof of concept of development of major retail product solutions. Present analytical plan, solution development roadmap, and recommendations to internal analytics and business stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner. Work with the Executive Director of Retail Analytics to build relationships with key contacts from Retail Analytics GTM teams and corporate retail solution teams. Requirements include: Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Marketing Research, Marketing Analytics, Decision Sciences or quantitative fields, plus 36 months experience in job offered or related. Experience to include quantitative methods and statistical applications, as well as experience with the following: Three (3) years of experience with SQL in a quantitative, analytical capacity; Three (3) years of experience analyzing digital promotional data and marketing coupon performance; Three (3) years of experience with analytical solution development or analytics process automation; Three (3) years of experience with Python or PySpark in a quantitative, analytical capacity; and three (3) years of experience with statistical modeling and segmentation. Alternative Requirements include: Master’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Marketing Research, Marketing Analytics, Decision Sciences or quantitative fields, plus 12 months experience in job offered or related. Experience to include quantitative methods and statistical applications, as well as experience with the following: One (1) year of experience with SQL in a quantitative, analytical capacity; One (1) year of experience analyzing digital promotional data and marketing coupon performance; One (1) year of experience with analytical solution development or analytics process automation; One (1) year of experience with Python or PySpark in a quantitative, analytical capacity; and one (1) year of experience with statistical modeling and segmentation. Any suitable combination of experience of education, training, or experience is acceptable. All experience may be acquired concurrently.
