Job Summary:
The Retail Investment Services Officer I will provide comprehensive investment advice and financial planning to an existing $50 million+ book of business at BTC Financial Services. This position will partner with branch employees of Bankers Trust to bring in new customers. Full compliance with the rules and regulations of our broker/dealer, Securities America, is required at all times.
Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:
- Develops relationships with branch employees in order to encourage referrals
- Meets with customers to determine if they have investment or insurance needs
- Meets with existing customers to ensure their investments and insurance are meeting their needs
- Reports on client meetings
- Reports on fee income generated
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
- Two years of investment brokerage experience required
- Active FINRA SIE Series 7, 63 & 65. Iowa Producer Insurance License required
- Four-Year College Degree preferred
- Four-year college degree in a related field preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
- High level of relationship building skills
- Proficiency in mutual funds, annuities, ETFs, insurance, bonds, IRAs, and asset allocation
Hiring Salary Range
The hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and/or commissions. Hiring Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000
