We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial function of our education business. • Analysing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
• Collaborating with other C-Suite executives to align financial strategies with overall business goals.
• Managing relationships with investors, auditors, and financial institutions.
• Providing clear and concise financial reports to the board of directors.
• Implementing and maintaining robust financial systems and controls.
• Driving process improvements and automation across finance functions.
• Driving initiatives to improve cost efficiency and profitability in the retail sector
• Develop financial models and business cases to support expansion and innovation.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to shape long-term business strategy and growth plans.

A successful Chief Financial Officer should have:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are highly valued.
• Extensive knowledge of financial management within the retail industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Commercial mind-set as this is expected from a CFO level-candidate.
• Proficiency in financial software and systems.
• Proven leadership abilities and experience in managing teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
• Proven experience in investment analysis, business development, and financial operations.
